From the very beginning...
Celebrations Unlimited Party Planning Service was started in June of 2010. I, Barb Truax, the owner/operator of Celebrations Unlimited Party Planning Service was diagnosed with breast cancer in October of 2008. This fact changed my life for the better. I am currently in remission with no signs of the cancer returning. The news made me pursue my dream of becoming a party planner & live each day to its fullest. No more taking life for granted for me! Life is to be celebrated, memories to be made and treasured for years to come.
I was married when I was 17 to the love of my life, Rick Truax. I planned my own wedding way back then and have been helping family & friends ever since.
I positively love helping brides with their weddings! It is my passion and it shows with each successful wedding/reception. I enjoy every minute of the process. There is no better joy than meeting with a bride/groom/brides parents and listening to their vision of the perfect wedding/reception and then turning that vision into a reality. Some people find planning a wedding stressful whereas I find it exciting and fun! I treat each bride as if she were my own daughter and attention to every detail is a must!

We rent black lights, decorations, and more. Make your next party glow in style! We offer party planning advise. We make planning your next party Simple & Fun. We can provide you with contact information for all the professionals you need to complete your party such as djs, photographers along with photo booth option, florist, cake bakers, caterers, & more.
You may choose to rent the hall and decorate yourself or hire us to do everything for you. For an additional fee we offer personal assistance during your event to give you the chance to sit back, relax and truly enjoy every moment of your party.

We have a following of repeat buyers that look forward to shopping at all our shows. Our vendor shows are fun! Come see why our vendor shows are different from the rest! Creative Catering, Torrie Ann Mellott is our onsite caterer for every event. She provides a different array of food or each event. You may choose to dine in or carry out! So plan to come hungry! Her food is over the top!
While you are at any of these events, you are welcome to meet with me to inquire about our beautiful venue, party planning assistance, onsite rental items such as linens, centerpieces, and more.

Vendor applications are available on this website with a first come first serve basis. We never have 2 vendors selling the same item. Vendors requesting to set up at a future event simply click on the show you wish to attend and print off an application and mail it in. A receipt with a confirmation or denial will be returned on the next business day.
Pictured here is a baby shower for twin boys! The place was a buzzing! The theme was bees! The expectant mother was named Bee because she was always buzzing around. The food was catered by Tea Time Tasties, flowers were created by the Flower Basket & Gifts.
This beautiful wedding was held at the Celebrations Unlimited Building. Congrats go out to Tim & Mindy Hall. They decorated the facility. I was in the background ironing linens and on the day of the event I was hired to insure everything ran smooth. Molly Deneen Photography captured the moment.
The FCMC hired me to set up, decorate and assist at their 65th Birthday Celebration. I went with a classic Black/Red color scheme. I also rent these tall feather centerpieces.It was breathtakingly beautiful!
The food was catered by Creative Catering, Torrie Ann Mellott. A carving station/buffet style meal was enjoyed by all. The guests raved about the roast beef that seemed to melt in their mouths along with the baby beets!
The guests loved everything about the evening. The food, the décor, the cake, the speakers! The cake was made by Kimberly Knepper from Hustontown, Pa. The cake was an octagon shape that sat on a lazy susan so you could spin it around to see each individual side. The edible photos looked too realistic to eat! All in all it was a perfect evening. I enjoyed listening to the speakers talk about the facility when it was first started along with the history of how it became all it is today and the vision for its tomorrow.
Pictured her is Tom & Mindy Gordon-Clevers wedding and reception. Beauty beyond belief. Mindy rented the centerpieces and added blue and purple feather changing its appearance. Mindy hired me to be her personal assistant for the day. Her cake was baked and decorated by Denise Browell, County Mouse Fancy Cakes, Hopewell, pa. Denise makes cakes that are not only beautiful in appearance but down right delicious. This cake design gives each person icing roses! Who does not love want a rose on their piece of cake? Banana is my all time favorite flavor. Denise offers a huge variety of cake flavors, fillings, and icing flavors! Look how the head table is placed directly in front of the sign that reads “Each Day Comes Once in a Lifetime”.
If you are planning a wedding, plan to come to our annual Wedding Expo. It is held the last Sunday in January year after year. The brides love it! We bring all the professionals you will need to turn your wedding from a vision into a reality all under 1 roof! You truly can plan your wedding all in one day at our event!
This is a wedding rehearsal dinner. It was the first time I went with an all ivory theme. It was gorgeous!
The food was catered by Torrie Ann Mellott, Creative Catering. They had an itailian buffet, complete with salad, breadsticks, mini cheesecakes and brownies for dessert.
The flowers were created by Giant.
I had the pleasure on assisting with all 3 schools 50th Class Reunions this year. I have beautiful linens in yellow and blue, as well as many other colors. Do you notice how pretty the lighted skirted tables look? SHC hired me to decorate, and offer personal assistance for the evening. This freed up the committee so they could enjoy the evening catching up with the lastest happening in their classmates lives. The tables were to have Mums as their centerpiece. The mums were then given away as door prizes. Music from their era was lightly played in the background. The poles stay wrapped in white lights year round. We celebrate Valentine’s Day with Heart! Every year the Celebrations Unlimited Party Planning Service hosts a Valentines Celebration like no other! We dress the facility up in its finest. I hire a dj for the evening who assists us with creating a one of a kind playlist. I ask each ticket holder for2 songs that have special meaning to them and create my playlist from those songs! I add a delicious meal prepared by Creative Catering, & add a photographer for the evening to capture the moment with your sweetie. When was the last time you dressed up and went out on the town for a romantic evening out? A photographer will be onsite to capture the moment with take home photos. We have a 50/50 drawing and some raffle tickets to add in raising money for a local charity. This year we are going to add a silent auction! The photos shown here are from previous years. Each year the hall is decorated differently!
Plan to attend the 2016 Sweetheart Fun-raiser to benefit Ashyn’s Angels. Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 6 to 9:30pm. Ken Speaks is the Dj for the evening. Torrie Ann Mellott, Creative Catering is preparing the meal. This is a alcohol free event.

Celebrations Unlimited makes hosting your Christmas gathering Simple & Fun! Every December the hall comes decorated in holiday style. There is no additional fee added to the hall rental. I provide a decorated tree, Santa suit, along with plastic tablecloths and a centerpiece.

We offer onsite catering, along with a list of other professional to complete your day. Such as cake bakers, minister, photographer, hair stylist, and dj services along with wedding planning advise and day of personal assistance.
Our hall offers seating for 100. Your hall rental comes complete with 100 chairs, 8 round tables that seat 8, and 15 rectangular tables. In addition to personal day of assistance we offer onsite linen rental, centerpieces and more.

The hall was decorated in pink and red. We used white linens accented with red satin table runners and fushia linens…it was beautiful!
Together we raised over 1,000 for the Daisy Fund. Notice how the buffet tables were round instead of rectangular. Our onsite caterer, Torrie Ann Mellott of Creative Catering provided the food for the evening. The fondue appetizer station was a huge hit! The cake was donated by KeetaQay Construction.
Pictured here is a couples wedding shower. It was a beauty and the beast theme. We turned Celebration Hall into a palace fit for royalty! A dance teacher come and taught the attendees a ballroom lesson.
The linens you see are satin yellow for Belles dress and the runners royal blue represented the Beasts clothing. They rented the linens and dishes from me. A cupcake was placed in each tea cup for the guests to enjoy. The centerpieces were tall cylinder vases with red roses. Loose petal were scattered on a mirror to represent the fact the beast and beauty had to fall in love before the last petal fell from the rose.
The food was prepared and names give to each food item based on characters from the movie.
The food was prepared by Creative Catering. food. The draping gave it a palace fee and was used again the following day for a Frozen Party.
Pictured here are a few examples of different colors of linens and table runners, cloth napkins, silverware, ivory beaded plates, and water goblets that we offer on-site to rent. The advantage to renting your items from us and hosting your party at our facility is the time and money we save you in the process! When you rent our items there is no need to run an hour or so to pick them up, and then another hour on the road to return them. When you rent tablecloths from me I will have them ironed and placed on the tables when you arrive. Linens add an element of sophistication to every event!

The Ruby Room is located behind the Jem Room. The Ruby Room is available to rent in addition to any of the other rooms. This room is great for the groom and groomsmen to get ready. It has its own private bathroom.
