From the very beginning...
Celebrations Unlimited Party Planning Service was started in June of 2010. I, Barb Truax, the owner/operator of Celebrations Unlimited Party Planning Service was diagnosed with breast cancer in October of 2008. This fact changed my life for the better. I am currently in remission with no signs of the cancer returning. The news made me pursue my dream of becoming a party planner & live each day to its fullest. No more taking life for granted for me! Life is to be celebrated, memories to be made and treasured for years to come.
I was married when I was 17 to the love of my life, Rick Truax. I planned my own wedding way back then and have been helping family & friends ever since.
I positively love helping brides with their weddings! It is my passion and it shows with each successful wedding/reception. I enjoy every minute of the process. There is no better joy than meeting with a bride/groom/brides parents and listening to their vision of the perfect wedding/reception and then turning that vision into a reality. Some people find planning a wedding stressful whereas I find it exciting and fun! I treat each bride as if she were my own daughter and attention to every detail is a must!

We rent black lights, decorations, and more. Make your next party glow in style! We offer party planning advise. We make planning your next party Simple & Fun. We can provide you with contact information for all the professionals you need to complete your party such as djs, photographers along with photo booth option, florist, cake bakers, caterers, & more.
You may choose to rent the hall and decorate yourself or hire us to do everything for you. For an additional fee we offer personal assistance during your event to give you the chance to sit back, relax and truly enjoy every moment of your party.

These fees include the use of 100 black fan back chairs, 12 round tables that seat 8 guests comfortably, plus 8 rectangular tables that are perfect for your gift tables, buffet, appetizers, etc.

Rustic barn venue with an attached living area for the bridal party to get ready for the big day. Convenient location with on-site parking and several different areas for the wedding ceremony. Includes cleaning the house and barn on week of your wedding (Mon - Wed). We confirm delivery of your tables and chairs, and portable restrooms. You have use of the venue Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Note: No overnight stays are permitted. Ask for local lodging options. Thursday is used to set the tables, chairs, and linens in place and to decorate. Friday is used to finish decorating if not completed on Thursday and 2 hours for your wedding rehearsal practice. Wedding rehearsal dinners can be booked at Celebrations Unlimited (additional fee) or I can suggest other local options. Ask for details. We handle cleaning prior to your arrival and after you depart. 20 hours or less of personal assistance is included. We assist you with decorating, the wedding rehearsal, and provide day of assistance. We handle all the behind-the-scenes little details that left unattended turn into big issues. Linens are included for up to 180 guests. Choose from white, ivory, eggplant, fushia, black, beige, yellow, peach, navy, and pumpkin. We have burlap and satin table runners in teal, black, ivory, red, baby pink, navy, burgundy, champagne, brown, coral, orange, eggplant, lavender, black and white combination. We have turquoise and silver overlays (you select the color you prefer or choose to mix and match colors). 2 tan portable restrooms are included for your guests to use. The bride, groom, wedding party, parents and grandparents are permitted to use the restrooms inside the house. Each unit has a working sink that operates with your foot, a paper towel dispenser and trash can. They sit directly in front of the corn crib. The inside of the house is reserved for the bride, groom, wedding party, parents, and grandparents. Note: The land owners don't want all the guests in the house. No smoking is permitted in the house or reception hall. Butt containers are provided on each side of the building. Together we will work out your floor plan and all tables you will need. We will place the order and be onsite when they are delivered and picked up on Monday. This price includes only one set of white folding chairs. The same chair will be used for the outside ceremony and wedding reception. We will have the groomsmen help place the chairs at the ceremony spot you choose outside. We will have the officiant announce if you are able to carry your chair please do so, otherwise my assistants and I will carry any guests' chairs inside and flatten and store any unneeded chairs. Includes 1 extra assistant on the day of the wedding for 4 hours. Includes trash removal, trash bags, paper towels, and hand soap. Note: $500.00 security deposit is required to reserve your wedding date. It is not included in the above fee. It is refunded to you on the next business day if nothing is broken or stolen. An optional bartender service is available for an additional charge. Bartender fee includes bartender for 5 hours, including setup, guest service, cleanup. We contact the bartender and make arrangements for him/her to arrive at the time you request. We permit wine, beer, wine coolers, and 1 signature drink. Note: Most weddings start at 2:00 or 4:00pm, and most last no longer than 6 hours total. Weddings are to be over at 10pm with your departure time of 11pm. Sparklers are permitted but must be lit outside the building. No confetti. You are required to purhase event insurance. You can purchase through a company of your choice or Lake Insurance Company in McConnellsburg (phone: 717-485-9033), which normally runs about $1.00 per guest. The property owners require this coverage. Bridal Outdoor Wedding Package (Wedding outside Hann's Lodge, Reception at Celebrations Unlimited Building) |
This is to give brides the opportunity for a beautiful outdoor ceremony and photos, with a wedding reception at the Celebrations Unlimited Building. Includes rental of the area outside Hann's Lodge for 4 hours or less on day of the wedding. Includes use of the restroom in the garage. We will have the practice the day of the wedding. If bride wants a practice the night prior, the cost is an additional $100.00 per hour. Bride can get photos taken prior to ceremony. Ceremony normally lasts about 15 minutes. Then more photos can be taken after the ceremony with the guests departing to Celebrations Unlimited Building immediately following the ceremony. Does NOT include use of the house. It will remain locked. Seats/chairs are NOT included; you can provide your own, or contact us for options. We handle clean-up afterwards. | $300.00 (seating not included; contact us for options) |
