From the very beginning...
Celebrations Unlimited Party Planning Service was started in June of 2010. I, Barb Truax, the owner/operator of Celebrations Unlimited Party Planning Service was diagnosed with breast cancer in October of 2008. This fact changed my life for the better. I am currently in remission with no signs of the cancer returning. The news made me pursue my dream of becoming a party planner & live each day to its fullest. No more taking life for granted for me! Life is to be celebrated, memories to be made and treasured for years to come.
I was married when I was 17 to the love of my life, Rick Truax. I am happy to say we just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. I planned my own wedding way back then and have been helping family & friends ever since.
I love helping brides with their weddings! It is my passion and it shows with each successful wedding/reception. I enjoy every minute of the process. There is no better joy than meeting with a bride/groom/brides parents and listening to their vision of the perfect wedding/reception and then turning that vision into a reality. Some people find planning a wedding stressful whereas I find it exciting and fun! I treat each bride as if she were my own daughter and attention to every detail is a must!

These vendors love what they do best and are just as passionate about their area of expertise. They are all reasonably priced and they want to make your celebration memorable. (DJs, hair & nail salon photographers, caterers, florist, limo service, bridal shop, bed and breakfasts and more)
I am not only wedding/event coordinator, I've started my own venue. I have been to and still travel to other venues to help brides & their families with their wedding/reception but, prefer to host the event at one of my two facilities. The Celebrations Unlimited Building is located at 27994 Great Cove Rd, Fort Littleton, Pa. 17223 along route 522 just two miles from the Pennsylvania Turnpike making it a great location for your event. We have a plenty of parking. We have added Hann's Lodge, a second venue located at 482 Whitetail lane, McConnellsburg. Pa 17233 to our buisness.

After attending other venues I created my dream venue. It is breathtakingly beautiful and I have equipped it with features that I feel are important and help in making your special day simple, fun, and stress free.
I want to provide you with the million dollar look without you having to spend big bucks! The Celebrations Unlimited building seats 100 guests comfortably. When you rent Celebration Hall the room includes the use of 12 round eight foot tables that seat eight and eight six foot tables that are perfect for your buffet, appetizers, gift table in addition to your head table or sweetheart table. We have 100 comfy black fan chairs that seem to conform to your body so you can sit comfortably for hours.
The Celebrations Unlimited Building has four separate rooms each adjoining the room next to it. You may choose to rent one or more rooms. Each room has central heat and air conditioning.
The outside of the building presents a rustic feel. The minute you walk into one of our two venues you will fall in love with their beauty.
Diamonds and Gems...
The entrance is pretty with a unique chandelier. Next you will step into the Jem Room, this room is located in the center of the Celebrations
Unlimited Building. The Jem Room is stunning and it is perfect to rent in addition to Celebration Hall when having more that 60 guests in attendance to display the buffet, appetizers and drink station. The Diamond Room is located to the right of the Jem Room and can be rented in addition to Celebration Hall & or the Jem Room. It is perfect for the brides who choose to get married in front of the fireplace in Celebration Hall making it the perfect location for both events. The Diamond Room is great if the bride, mother of the bride and attendants wish to have their hair and makeup completed on site enabling you to sit back and relax. Celebration Hall makes the perfect reception site in addition to a wedding ceremony site. The room is stunning with its high cathedral ceiling and exposed wooden beams. There are 7 poles in the room and each one is wrapped in lights creating a romantic feel to any celebration. There are 2 high ceiling fans & a fireplace that makes a beautiful backdrop for photos. We choose to light candles in the fireplace that sit on top of a sheet of mirror creating a soft glow.There is a kitchen located in Celebration Hall complete with a refrigerator, microwave, island and 2 bay sink. Note: there is no stove onsite. Choose to use our glassware to complete your buffet or appetizer station complete with the pedestal dishes, service trays, cake server set and more at no additional cost. This makes less items for you to bring from home making your experience simple and fun.
At the Celebrations Unlimited Building you may choose to personally provide your own food, or choose to have it catered in by one our preferred vendors.
You may choose to rent the facility & do all the planning and decorating yourself or you may wish to hire me to plan, decorate, serve, and clean back up. I will let this option totally up to you. I love being able to provide assistance to you so you may sit back, relax and enjoy the company of your family and friends.
At Celebrations Unlimited we offer items to rent. As a party planner I feel it is my job to save you money while providing a WOW factor to you and your guests. We rent many items in addition to renting you the perfect facility. Why buy items that you do not intend to ever use again. This also saves you time and money. There is no need to travel to another location to rent table linens, cloth napkins, satin table runners, mirrors, dishes, water goblets, silverware, lighted arch, etc only to make an additional trip to return all these items on the day following the event. Our prices are lower than the competition and once again this makes your party decorating simple and fun.
We now rent tuxedos from Jim's Formal Wear collection. We offer budget tuxes - designer brands such as Calvin Klein, Vera Wang & more. Boys sizes 3-18, Mens big and tall every size, we carry them all.
Down to the details...
You may choose to decorate yourself or choose to hire me to do it for you in addition to being onsite to light your candles, turn on your lights and greet your guests as they arrive while you are back at the church getting the wedding photos taken. I am available to assist as needed. Hire me to be your personal assistant for the day.
See our price list. I do offer a special discounted rate for all Celebration brides. I offer a special 3 day deal for my brides wishing to decorate the days prior to the wedding. This option allows you to start decorating on Thursday instead of trying to set up and decorate on your wedding day. This eliminates stress.I prefer you to be relaxed on your wedding day not feeling stressed to get everything done all in 1 day.
Each client renting Celebration Hall is given a written contract. We do book on a first come first serve basis giving you 7 days to return your signed contract along with your cleaning deposit fee of $75.00 for weddings/$50.00 for all other events. A cleaning checklist is given along with the contract to review prior to booking. If you choose to clean the facility back to its original state of cleanliness your deposit will be refunded to you on the next business day. The hall is always delivered to you clean. If you do not wish to clean simply take home the items you brought with you along with your wedding gifts and waive the cleaning deposit. We will clean back up for you.
Wedding Receptions are my specialty. You may rent the facility and do everything yourself or hire me to plan, decorated, serve, and clean back up for you. My goal is to see you turn your dream day from a vision into a reality.
